Weight Training

All on my todd today so I decided go for a PB on the power cleans. 100k x 2. YEh, happy with that but it felt heavy on the back. I will invest in a belt and some weight-lifting shoes for safety. Finished with some squats and benching.

EKF Regional Squad Session

Wed 2 Sept

The usual suspects turned up with some notable absences too. My coaching style is a slow methodical process with significant changes made over time. I can appreciate athletes do not get the full benefit of my sessions due to inconsistancy. This makes it difficult for me to coach them in competition as my coaching on the day often relates to something we have done in training. I am enjoying the coaching relationship between the coaches at the moment, we bounce off each other well offering a constant source of new ideas.

Today we rehursed short, sweet drills at intensity but short duration to prepare for the BKF. The athletes have worked hard to this point and i'm sure the will get out exactly what they have put in.
